Our Story

With the collaboration of our friend and skilled architect Valerio Rossi, we have created a modern and relaxing space that fully reflects our philosophy. To design a wine shop in harmony with nature, we carefully selected materials such as wood and iron, which bring authenticity and warmth to the environment. The architecture and interior design are inspired by the vineyard landscape: the railing of the internal staircase, made with vineyard posts and wires, evokes the rows of vines.

Our mission goes beyond offering high-quality dishes and wines; it is deeply rooted in respecting the land. We carefully select excellent raw materials, relying on suppliers who are not just collaborators but friends whose passion and reliability we know personally. Our dishes and wines tell a story of authenticity and respect for the environment.

Our wine list, featuring around 200 labels, is a true reflection of this philosophy. Most of the wines we offer are organic, and our list always indicates whether a bottle is certified organic or not. Every choice we make is driven by the goal of offering you a unique journey through authentic flavors, traditions, and a deep connection with the land.

Let's look back at our milestones.

A Journey Through Flavors and Tradition on Three Levels

The venue is spread over three levels, offering a unique experience that blends tradition and modernity. On the ground floor, guests are welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere, where the entrance and kitchen harmoniously merge with a display case and a fridge showcasing carefully selected foods and fine products, many of which are available for purchase. From here, visitors can access both the cellar and the first floor.

The cellar, located in the basement, is a true gem for wine enthusiasts. Modern plexiglass shelves showcase a selection of around 200 wines and sparkling wines from all over the world. The constant temperature and absence of natural light ensure ideal conditions for preserving rare and valuable bottles. Among these, the collection of Barolo dating back to 1958 stands out, produced in the historic Annunziata winery by the grandfather and father of Severino Oberto—a family treasure that tells a story of decades of passion and dedication.

Every detail of the venue is designed to offer a journey through authentic flavors and timeless traditions. Every corner exudes history and meticulous care, making the experience truly unforgettable.

The first floor, spacious and bright, offers approximately 40 seats. Among the furnishings, a large solid oak table stands out, positioned to the side, perfect for welcoming groups who wish to enjoy a pleasant and convivial evening. The large windows, once open arches, provide a charming view of the historic town center, home to La Morra’s two iconic churches: the Church of San Martino and the Church of San Rocco.

Completing the façade of the building is a precious terracotta statue of the Madonna, dating back to the 1700s and present in this location for at least a century—an element that adds an extra touch of charm and history to the venue.

The room is equipped with a projector and screen, making it ideal for meetings, presentations, or tasting courses. Upon request, the space can be rented for private events such as parties, baptisms, or weddings, providing an elegant and welcoming setting for any occasion.
